See the KL17p for the first time in the UK. CPL is teaming up with Thomas Nagy on a joint stand at Highways UK 2026, 14–15 October at the NEC.
Highways UK is the must-attend event for the UK’s road infrastructure sector, bringing together the people who plan, build and operate the nation’s roads for two days of insight, innovation and industry connection. This year it’s at the NEC, Birmingham, and it’s shaping up to be one of the biggest yet.
We’ll be there on 14th and 15th October, sharing a joint stand with Thomas Nagy Highways. This year, we’re bringing the KL17p, making its first-ever appearance on UK soil…
We’ve known the team at Thomas Nagy Highways for a good while now. They’re a highways, rail and commercial electrical contracting business, and we’ve built up a good relationship with them over that time, which is why we’re sharing a stand at Highways UK together this year.
Thomas Nagy Highways were also the first to place an order for a KL17p, so it made sense to have them stood next to it when it makes its UK debut. You’ll find us both on stand I33 at Highways UK, 14 to 15 October at the NEC Birmingham.
The KL17p is the reason we’re genuinely excited about this one. It’s a 17.3-metre working height platform mounted on a 3.5-tonne van, which makes it the only light commercial vehicle in its class capable of reaching that high. There’s also a 5-tonne GVW version available if you need the extra capacity, though that one moves into C1 licence territory.
It gives you 10.5 metres of outreach, 420 degrees of boom rotation, and a working load of up to 250kg, so it’s built to get into the awkward spots street lighting and telecoms work throws up, not just go straight up and down. 1kV insulation as standard, IPAF 1B rating, and a built-in anti-collision system.
This will be the first time it’s been shown anywhere in the UK, and we couldn’t think of a better place to do it than stood next to the team who’ve already been putting one to work in the field.
Come and see the KL17p up close, have a proper look at the boom and basket, and talk to both the CPL and Thomas Nagy Highways teams about how it’s actually going to be used day to day. We’ll be on stand I33 for the full two days, 14 to 15 October, happy to talk specs, demos, or anything else you want to know.
The KL17p will be ready for orders very soon. If you want to be one of the first to get your hands on one, register your interest here and we’ll be in touch as soon as we know more.
