We have Pick up cherry pickers that are 2nd hand but have been serviced & lolered by us from new. Here's a case study for one customer that chose 2nd hand.
CPL currently have a stock of used pick up cherry pickers. We have serviced these platforms from new and are keen to help those companies that are not in a position to buy new.
One of our Arborist customers, Beechenlea previously purchased a Toyota Hilux pick up cherry picker from new. When they saw we had some used versions of the same model they added to their fleet. They have also recently had a bespoke ATAT (Arb Tipper) built by CPL. This has allowed them to extend their business model.
The working height of the boom is 13.5m and the working outreach of this A314 Toyota pick up is 6.5m. This company will use MEWP’s as an alternative to climbing with ropes and harnesses as it is much safer. This platform allows the tree surgeon to access everywhere a climber can.
The A314 can be operated and recovered by just one operator. For a team of our customers size, this is a must. Click here for a short video of this conversion in action.
CPL received this testimonial from the Beechenlea’s Contracts Director: « I have always looked to CPL as a market leader, and was impressed with the MEWPs when I worked alongside them during my time at Ground Control working on the UK Power Networks and Western Power Distribution tree and vegetation management contracts. When I was aware that CPL were selling used DNO fleet I was keen to get my hands on a used model, as I had the confidence that it would be well maintained by said DNO, including some beneficial aftermarket additions. I was also confident that CPL would give the vehicle a thorough inspection and retest before we collected the keys. »
We currently have a number of used, stock and ex demo conversions on the website.
