*New* The E18P is a specialist 18.5m insulated chassis mounted aerial platform built for operators working on or near live electrical infrastructure. Fully insulated to 46kV in accordance with ANSI 92.2, it allows teams to carry out live-line work, overhead cable maintenance and substation operations in complete safety without taking lines out of service.
Built on an Iveco Daily 7t 4×4 chassis, the E18P combines genuine off-road capability with a compact stabilising footprint of less than 30cm on each side. That means access to substations, rural infrastructure and difficult terrain that standard truck chassis mounted platforms simply cannot reach.
The telescopic and pendulum boom combination gives a maximum working height of 18.5m with 12.8m outreach, and a 240kg basket capacity for two operators with tools and equipment. For utilities, power distribution and council infrastructure teams working across the UK network, this level of reach, safety rating and ground access in a single vehicle is genuinely hard to find elsewhere.

Most chassis mounted platforms are not rated for live-line work. The E18P is specifically engineered for it, with full 46kV insulation throughout the boom and basket, fully compliant with LOLER regulations and HSE electrical safety requirements. The 4×4 drivetrain handles off-road access to rural substations and network infrastructure without needing a separate transport vehicle. Large storage compartments keep tools and PPE secure and accessible throughout the working day.
Every E18P is a bespoke build, engineered to your specification by CPL’s manufacturer approved conversion team. Finance options are available on all bespoke builds.
